IVA MCU Video Conferencing Service Launched in Kyrgyzstan

MegaCom, the largest mobile operator in the Kyrgyz Republic, is now providing a video conferencing service based on the IVA MCU platform.

The video conferencing service is based on a SaaS model, which allows government agencies, businesses and other subscribers of the operator to use the video conferencing service, while reducing the time and costs of purchasing, deploying, configuring, and maintaining specialized equipment and software. Using the IVA MCU service on a SaaS model allows subscribers to independently establish video conference sessions, and for this any device will do: a PC, laptop, or smartphone connected to Internet.

Currently, two government agencies are being connected — the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Health. MegaCom plans to provide video conferencing to other agencies.

Technical support for the IVA MCU solution in the Kyrgyz Republic is provided by the smart operator Telemedia Group, a partner of IVA Technologies in the Asian region.

«Expanding our geographic footprint is one of the priority growth directions for our company. This project is a perfect example of effective cooperation, which is especially important during the pandemic that has triggered an exponential increase in demand for video conferencing services around the world. We are glad that our foreign partners, just like us, understand the need to support businesses during this time of crisis and provide the service free of charge until the end of April 2020,» comments Maxim Smirnov, CCO of IVA Technologies.

Russian video conferencing platform IVA MCU combines all forms of modern communication and allows to connect participants to video conferences from any stationary or mobile workplaces. The platform can be used for holding meetings, business appointments, lectures, webinars, presentations, workshops, surveys, remote learning, as well as for file sharing and messaging, event planning and recording, and multi-user document management.
