IVA MCU Video Conferencing Service Employed in Belarus Education System
Cloud video conferencing service launched by the Belarusian provider beCloud based on the Russian solution IVA MCU has been successfully tested and is now used in a number of educational institutions in the Republic of Belarus.
The IVA MCU video conferencing service for distance learning is already being used in test mode by more than 10 schools in the Republic. Beyond that, a practice-oriented seminar of the Minsk Regional Institute for Education Development and the Znai.by platform was held on the video conferencing cloud platform, uniting representatives of about 160 educational institutions of the Minsk Region online.
The launched service allows organizing the process of distance learning and communication at a whole new level, including from a technical point of view. A user only needs a webcam and a personal computer, smartphone or tablet connected to the Internet. In addition to video communication sessions that take place online through the interface of the software product «IVA MCU Video Conferencing Platform,» the service provides additional function set for students and teachers: «whiteboard,» multi-user document management, screen and any type of content sharing, event recording, chat for participants, and much more.
The service has also been demanded for organizing the administrative work in the education system of Belarus. In the conditions of geographical distribution of regional and district institutions, as well as for interaction with peers from other countries, they need solution that significantly simplifies communication with no compromise in quality, meets information security requirements and allows for working meetings, negotiations, presentations and voting in video conference format.
